Brief description of the program: In today’s sociopolitical climate, clinical documentation can be both a tool of care and a source of risk, especially for clients from marginalized communities. This 3-hour training offers practical strategies for writing notes, treatment plans, and other clinical records that protect client safety while meeting ethical, professional, and legal standards. Special attention will be given to considerations for working with vulnerable populations, including immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent clients, and minors.
