For most Americans, financial issues are a leading cause of chronic stress, which may lead to negative sentiments such as guilt, shame, anxiety, and embarrassment. Moreover, social pressure to live beyond one's means can result in a skewed perception of our peers' economic standing. We will discuss financial concepts and how they work, in addition to discussing the impact financial stress has on our relationships and mental health.
