HLPCA is a state approved provider for CEU's for LPCs, LMFTs, Social Workers, and LCDCs. 

Monthly programs will start at 7:00pm and end at 8:30pm. Please arrive by 6:45pm to allow check-in time and seating before the program begins.

Raymond Johnson, LPC, past president of the Houston LPC Association, who specializes on treatment of sexual offenders, will present this very informative program. Also learn how to find out if there are predators in your neighborhood.

Thomas Moore, LCDC, Addiction Therapist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, with an extensive background in the treatment of substance dependence will present this informative program.

Design & Delivery of Psychologically Effective Presentations - One way to increase your practices' visibiilty in the Mental Health community is through presentations at meetings such as HLPCA, civic and community organizations, schools, PTA meetings, etc... This program will provide members with a quick understanding of communication psychology and presentation design. This fast moving program will be presented by John Luquette, MA, LPC, LCDC, CGP, a long time member and past president of your Houston LPC Association. John works at MD Anderon as Senior Counseling Specialist in the Nurse Counseling Service.

Dr. Leslye Mize will present on “Transgenerational genograms and family systems.” Dr. Mize is currently a Professor, and the Director of Training, for the Family Therapy Program at UHCL.
